Frequently Asked Questions
How does billing work for paid plans?
When you sign up, you're charged upfront for the first 30-day cycle. Billing always runs on 30-day intervals, not calendar months.
What happens if I upgrade mid-period?
Your current cycle ends as of the day you upgrade. We generate an invoice for usage so far. If you didn’t use all your included limits, the remaining value is credited to your balance. If you went over, excess usage fees apply.
When does my new plan start after upgrading?
A new full 30-day cycle starts immediately. You're billed for the new plan, and any available balance is applied to the invoice.
What are Flex Add-ons?
Flex add-ons are one-time usage top-ups you can buy anytime. They’re billed instantly and stay active until their allowance is used up — they don’t expire by date.
What happens when I use a Flex Add-on?
Your usage will automatically pull from Flex add-ons balance after free plan limits are exhausted, but before any recurring add-ons or main plan quotas.
Can I buy multiple Flex Add-ons?
Yes. You can top up anytime. Multiple Flex add-ons stack together, and are consumed in the order they were purchased.
What’s the order of quota usage?
When calculating usage, the system pulls from your balances in this order: Free tier → Flex add-ons → Recurring Add-ons → Main Plan → Excess usage.
Do unused credits roll over?
Recurring plan quotas reset every 30 days. Flex add-ons stay active untsil used. Nothing rolls over beyond the current cycle except for when you upgrade mid-period.
Will I lose data when switching plans?
No. Your data remains intact — we only change your limits and features based on the new plan.
What happens if I add a recurring add-on mid-cycle?
Same as plan upgrades — your current cycle ends early, and a partial invoice is generated based on what you’ve used. A new 30-day cycle begins immediately with the updated configuration.
Can I remove a recurring add-on?
Yes. You can cancel any recurring add-on at any time. It will remain active until the end of your current 30-day cycle and will not renew after that.
How do I cancel my entire subscription?
You can cancel at any time. Your plan will remain active until the end of the current cycle. After that, your account will revert to the Free Tier. Any outstanding balance from your final cycle will still be payable.
What happens if my payment fails?
If a scheduled payment fails, we’ll notify you and keep retrying for 14 days. During this grace period, your account stays active. If payment is not completed within 14 days, your account will be locked until the balance is cleared.
What is included in the Free Tier?
The Free Tier includes basic access to all services with a combined daily limit of 200 operations (e.g. IP lookups, email validations, prompt checks). You cannot purchase recurring or Flex add-ons while on Free Tier. To access higher limits or add-ons, upgrade to a paid plan.
Can I downgrade my main plan?
Downgrading to a lower paid plan is not currently supported. You can cancel your subscription to return to the Free Tier at the end of your billing period.
What Happens If I Exceed My Plan Limits?
We’ll notify you when you reach 80% and 100% of any feature allowance during your billing period. If you go beyond your included usage, excess usage charges apply.
Charges are cumulative by tier. For example, using 6,000 excess units will incur: $10 (1–1,000) + $50 (1,001–5,000) + $150 (5,001–10,000) + $150 (10,001 - 15,000), and so on....
Units Used | Excess Fee |
---|---|
1 – 1,000 | $10 |
1,001 – 5,000 | $50 |
5,001 and above | $150 per 5,000 units |
Excess usage is calculated at the end of the billing period or upgrade transition and added to your final invoice.
